At Veri Yazılım A.Ş. (“Kerzz AI”, “we”), we value your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, and how we use, store and delete it when you use the Kerzz AI platform and our AI assistant services delivered over messaging channels such as Instagram and WhatsApp.

1. Data We Collect

  • Account information: the name, email address and organization details you provide when registering.
  • Message content: messages you send when chatting with a business's AI assistant, the assistant's replies, and channel identifiers for those messages (e.g. Instagram user ID, message ID).
  • Instagram/Meta data: when a business connects an Instagram account, the relevant Instagram account ID, username and the access token used to send and receive messages on that account's behalf.
  • Technical data: logs, timestamps and error information processed to secure and improve the service.

2. How We Use Data

  • To enable the AI assistant to understand your messages and generate appropriate responses.
  • To deliver inbound and outbound messages across messaging channels, including Instagram.
  • To provide, secure, prevent abuse of, and improve the service.
  • To comply with our legal obligations.
  • We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for advertising.

3. Third-Party Services

  • We use large language model (LLM) providers such as OpenAI to generate AI responses; message content may be sent to these providers for the purpose of generating replies.
  • Instagram messaging is powered by the Instagram Graph API provided by Meta Platforms and is subject to Meta's platform terms.
  • These providers process data solely to deliver the service, under their own privacy policies.

4. Data Retention

  • We retain your data only for as long as necessary to provide the service or as required by our legal obligations.
  • Conversation records are deleted upon the connected business's request or when an account is closed.

5. Deleting Your Data

  • If you have interacted with us via Instagram and want your data deleted, you can remove the app from your Instagram settings, which revokes the related access.
  • You may also request deletion via the contact below; we will fulfil your request within a reasonable time.
  • We process data deletion requests, including those received through Meta's Data Deletion mechanism.

6. Data Security

  • We apply industry-standard measures to protect sensitive data such as access tokens, and we mask such data in our interfaces.
  • Access to data is limited to authorized personnel who need it to provide the service.

7. Your Rights

  • You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data.

8. Changes

  • We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will announce material changes by posting them on this page.
